View DetailsOur goal is to build and strengthen Oroko communities by fostering unity, celebrating and preserving our rich cultural heritage, and empowering individuals through financial literacy education. By promoting cultural pride and equipping members with the tools to make informed financial decisions, we aim to create a foundation for lasting growth, stability, and self-sufficiency within our communities.
View DetailsWe aim to educate and empower displaced Oroko women and girls affected by the Anglophone crisis. Uprooted from their homes and livelihoods, many have been left vulnerable. Through support, education, and resources, we strive to help them rebuild their lives and thrive.
View DetailsThe mission of OWA has already been eloquently stated. In alignment with this mission, the vision of the organization is to grow into a strong sisterhood—one that empowers its members to embrace their authentic selves and reach their full potential. To fulfill this vision, OWA must continue to be dynamic, creative, and innovative. Membership is open to all women residing in Georgia who are connected to the Oroko heritage—whether by birth, marriage, or meaningful affiliation. We give thanks to God for blessing this group with a wide array of talents. OWA continues to grow—not only in size but in reach, impact, and network. Though newly established, it is on track to become a formidable and respected organization, founded on dedication and a deep sense of community.
